Work with Cedar Collaborative

This is not a job posting.

Cedar Collaborative is a principal-led practice, and it is staying that way. But the long-term model is a deliberate one: a small collaborative of senior marketing practitioners who refer to each other, work alongside each other on the right engagements, and operate under shared infrastructure without the overhead of building it themselves.

If you are a senior marketer, GTM strategist, or specialist practitioner doing independent work, and you find yourself spending too much time on business development, contracts, and administration rather than the actual work, this might be worth a conversation.

What working alongside Cedar Collaborative looks like

You bring your own experience and point of view. We are not looking for execution support. We have that. We are interested in people who can lead engagements, think alongside clients at a senior level, and work well without much hand-holding.

In practice, this means referrals in both directions, collaboration on engagements where the scope calls for it, and shared infrastructure where it makes sense. Some collaborators work on a project basis. Others become longer-term partners. The relationship defines itself over time.

Who tends to be a good fit?

Someone who has been inside organizations and understands how they actually work. Someone with a defined area of depth — go-to-market, lifecycle, positioning, demand, content — and the range to think beyond it. Someone who values clarity and execution over credential and process.

Geography is flexible. Most of our work is remote-first. Current collaborators are based in Seattle, Sydney, and Berlin.

Skip the resume. Send a note to jesse (at) cedarcollab.com that tells me what you work on, who you work with, and what you’re trying to build. That’s the start of the right conversation.
