About Us

Cedar Collab. exists for moments when marketing clarity matters most.

We work with small and midsize teams at inflection points. Growth has accelerated, markets have shifted, or leadership is changing. What worked before no longer does.

Our role is to bring steadiness, structure, and momentum. Not by adding noise, but by helping teams see the system they are already operating inside.

Cedar Collab. Founder & Fractional CMO

Jesse Swingle founded Cedar Collab after decades working inside and alongside growing organizations. Time and again, he saw the same pattern repeat. Marketing failed not for lack of effort, but because leadership, tools, and timing were misaligned.

As a fractional CMO, Jesse works directly with leadership teams to diagnose gaps, set priorities, and design marketing systems that scale. His work spans strategy, systems, and execution, often at moments when growth has outpaced structure or clarity has eroded.

Over the course of his career, Jesse has led global marketing organizations, scaled B2B companies through acquisition and international expansion, and built modern marketing and revenue systems in complex, regulated environments. He holds an executive MBA focused on leadership from Seattle University, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of British Columbia.

How we work

Cedar Collab engagements are led by senior strategy and carried forward through a trusted network of collaborators.

Jesse works directly with clients as fractional CMO, then brings in specialists as needed. That can include copywriters, campaign managers, designers, sales leaders, martech experts, or operators. Each engagement is shaped around the actual problem, not a preset package.

Clients get access to a team of experienced practitioners, coordinated through a single point of leadership. The result is depth where it matters, flexibility where it helps, and clarity throughout.

When we step in

Cedar Collab engagements rarely look the same, because the problems rarely do. In practice, our work often spans strategy, systems, and execution at the same time. That can include rebuilding a marketing and sales stack, pressure-testing AI tools before rollout, designing and running campaigns, or helping leadership teams plan the year ahead with clarity instead of guesswork.

We regularly support rebrands, team upgrades, and revenue alignment work when growth has outpaced structure. That might mean rebuilding a marketing and sales stack, pressure-testing AI tools before rollout, or stepping in to run campaigns while a team resets. In some cases, we step in to stabilize. In others, we help teams move faster without breaking what already works.

Who is a good fit?

Cedar Collab works best with organizations navigating growth, transition, or recovery. Common inflection points include scaling into new markets, rebuilding after layoffs, preparing for investment, or aligning marketing and sales after periods of drift.

We are not a fit for one-off tactical projects or teams looking for hands-off execution without leadership involvement.
