Cedar Collaborative exists for moments when marketing clarity matters most.
We work with organizations at inflection points. Growth has accelerated. Markets have shifted. Leadership has changed. What worked before no longer works.
Our role is to bring steadiness, structure, and forward momentum. Not by adding noise, but by helping teams see and strengthen the systems already inside their business.
Many clients engage Cedar Collaborative through a fractional CMO model, bringing experienced marketing leadership into the organization without adding a full-time executive role.
Cedar Collaborative
Founder & Fractional CMO
Jesse Swingle founded Cedar Collaborative after two decades working inside and alongside growing organizations. Across sectors and markets, he saw the same pattern repeat: marketing failed not from lack of effort, but from misaligned leadership, tools, and timing.
As a fractional CMO, Jesse partners directly with executive teams to diagnose gaps, set priorities, and design marketing systems that scale. His work spans strategy, positioning, revenue systems, and hands-on execution when needed.
Over the course of his career, he has led global marketing organizations, supported B2B growth companies, and built modern marketing and revenue functions in complex and regulated environments. He holds an MBA from Seattle University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of British Columbia.
A clear point of view
Marketing should not operate as a collection of campaigns. It should function as an integrated system aligned to how the organization actually works.
Clarity without execution is noise. Execution without clarity is churn.
Cedar Collaborative operates at the intersection of both.
How engagements are structured
Every engagement is led by senior strategy and carried forward through focused execution.
Sometimes Jesse works directly as fractional CMO. In other cases, he assembles and leads a small group of trusted collaborators. In all cases, there is a single point of leadership and clear accountability.
Each engagement is shaped around the actual business challenge. Not a preset package.
When we step in
Cedar Collaborative is typically brought in during periods of growth, transition, or recovery.
Growth has outpaced structure. Retention is slipping. Go to market feels unclear. A leadership shift has changed priorities.
We work alongside executive teams to restore clarity, rebuild momentum, and create marketing systems that hold under pressure.
Who is a good fit?
Cedar Collaborative works best with organizations navigating meaningful change.
Founders and CEOs who want marketing to operate with discipline.
Leadership teams who value clarity over activity.
Companies ready to align strategy and execution under one accountable leader.
We are not a fit for short-term tactical projects without leadership involvement.

If marketing clarity matters right now, let’s talk.
A short conversation is often enough to determine whether there is a strong fit.
